About these terms
These terms apply to acev.net and its forum, run by Danijel Balcakovic ("we"). By using the website or creating a forum account, you accept them. The server rules apply on the forum as well.
AceV is an independent server. It is not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft, and it follows the Minecraft EULA and Usage Guidelines.
Your forum account
- Sign up with your own Minecraft username. Pretending to be someone else, including staff, is not allowed.
- One account per person. Accounts used to get around a ban are closed.
- Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is posted from your account.
- If you are under 16, ask a parent or guardian before signing up.
What you post
You keep the rights to what you write and to the screenshots you share. By posting, you allow us to show it on the forum and keep it there after you leave, as described in the privacy policy.
Do not post:
- insults, harassment, threats or discrimination;
- spam, advertising for other servers or services, or referral links;
- sexual, violent or otherwise inappropriate content;
- other people's personal data, or content you don't have the right to share;
- cheats, exploits, or instructions for using them;
- anything illegal.
Moderation
The staff can edit, move, lock, hide or delete posts and threads that break these terms or the rules, and can suspend or close accounts. The penalties are the same as in game: warning, temporary suspension, permanent ban.
If you think a decision was wrong, you can appeal. Reporting a post you think breaks the rules helps the staff, but misusing reports is itself against the rules.
Availability
We run AceV in our free time and do our best to keep the website, the forum and the server online, but we can't guarantee they are always available or error-free. Features may change or be removed.
Responsibility
Every user is responsible for their own posts. We remove unlawful content as soon as we know about it. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for damage caused by using the website, by content posted by others or by outages. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. No place of jurisdiction is agreed here; where there is no such agreement, jurisdiction follows from the applicable procedural rules. Mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence applies in any case.
